Children's portraits from Studio 3

Children's portraits are a special task. It takes patience and lots of film to get really good photo's. Very young children should be well rested before the session to get the best mood. For the young ones, bring some favorite toys and several outfits. We'll all play a little and get everyone comfortable then try some different outfits, backgrounds and props. We also have a couple of ponds and bridges with some great opportunities for children's portraits. (all the photographs on this page were taken inside or outside at our studio). If the kids are old enough, we can "explore", throw sticks in the pond, or feed the fish, look at flowers and get some very natural portraits that really stand the test of time. Kids love to explore and this helps keep them entertained and interested for more opportunities to catch them being themselves. Black and White, Sepia and Hand Coloring are very popular options!

A great idea for the really little babies is to do several poses with the baby and parents and also get the "small" things like small little toes and fingers, the cute little ear, up close then make a collage so you get those wonderful baby images you'll never have a chance to get again!

Pricing for children's portraits are the same as "big people". Depending on the age of the children we will try to get 6-8 different poses for you to choose from. Scroll down for some of our favorite childrens' portraits.
